2026 Registration Information:

Welcome to the Jr. Wildcats Football & Cheer Program!
Thank you for your interest in joining the Jr. Wildcats community. We are proud to offer a competitive and supportive football and cheer program for youth athletes.

Please note we do cap our football and cheer teams.
Spaces are LIMITED. Once a particular team is full a waitlist will be created.

How to Register:

STEP ONE:
Families must register online through our website to reserve an athlete’s roster spot.

2026 online registration opens on Super Bowl Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Registration is not complete without online sign-up.

STEP TWO:
Families are required to complete and submit an in-person registration packet at one of our scheduled registration events.

*2026 packet availability and in-person registration dates will be announced at a later time.
Athletes must be registered online before packets can be submitted.

2026 Registration Information & Cost:

Football:
Ages: 6 years to 14 (No high school students – ALL 8TH GRADERS NEED TO REGISTER FOR 14U FOOTBALL)

Registration Cost: $400 
$50 deposit required to hold your athletes spot - Super Bowl Sunday Only
$100 deposit required to hold your athletes spot after Super Bowl Sunday
Full football registration due on or before 06/01/26

Cheer:
Ages: 4 years to 14  (No high school students – ALL 8TH GRADERS NEED TO REGISTER FOR 14U CHEER)

Registration Cost: $750
$50 deposit required to hold your athletes spot - Super Bowl Sunday Only
$100 deposit required to hold your athletes spot after Super Bowl Sunday

Cheer package includes: full uniform bow to toe & covers SYF competition fee
Please Note: Optional items may be offered at additional cost(s) and additional fees will apply for cheer families that elect to participate in outside league competitions that will be offered.
Full cheer registration due on or before 05/01/26
(Failure to pay in full by deadline will result in cheer uniform delay or cancelation of your athletes cheer uniform)

REQUIRED Credit Card Authorization Form:
Volunteer, fundraiser, and equipment deposits (football only) are required.

A credit card authorization form will be collected during STEP TWO to acknowledge that these fees may be charged if agreements are not fulfilled.

REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE:

$25 SIBLING DISCOUNT (Must be done on same online transaction to apply)

Additional items REQUIRED for 2026 registration:

SPORTS PHYSICAL: All Football Players & Cheerleaders need a sports physical dated after April 1st of current year. Physical needs to be on medical providers letterhead or on SYF Physical form (see link below):

School Demographics/Enrollment Form: All Football Players & Cheerleaders need to provide a school enrollment form (letter with address, date of birth and grade level, signed and stamped by the school or on school letterhead). These are available typically from your online school portal, school office or school districts office. Please note your child does not need to attend a Vacaville School to play for the Jr Wildcats.

2026 FOOTBALL INFORMATION:

Equipment Required:
The organization provides all required football equipment needed for the season (please note all loaned out equipment must be returned at the end of the season). Players must provide a mouthpiece (cannot be red in color and must attach to the helmet) and cleats. We do recommend buying an extra pair(s) of football pants for practice (can be blue, black, or white in color).

If you elect to have your athlete provide their own football helmet and/or shoulder pads please not the equipment must meet certification requirements. Please note the helmet must match our color way: White shell with gray face mask.


Football Player Eligibility: 
Our league has (4) levels of football (8U, 10U, 12U, 14U). The player’s age as of August 1 of the current year shall determine team level of participation. All incoming 8th graders are required to participate at the 14U level only (no high school students are allowed to play in our league). 

Player weight will determine position eligibility in levels 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U i.e., skilled player, X-Man. Any player that is weighing heavier than the skilled player weight will then be certified to participate as an X-Man only. 

*SP = Skilled Player, Eligible to participate anywhere on the field of play.

X-Man = A player weighing more than the SP weights. Eligible to participate on the offensive line within the Free Blocking zone. Eligible to participate on the Defensive line within the free blocking zone; may advance the ball during a fumble or interception. May participate on Kick off and Kickoff return teams on the front line only. X-Man will be encouraged to wear a jersey number in the 60s, 70s, to be easily recognizable to the officials. X-Man is allowed to be punter and kicker on special teams. X-Man will wear SYF authorized (only) sticker on the rear of the helmet.

2026 CHEER INFORMATION:

Cheerleader Eligibility: 
Ages: 4-14 
All incoming 8th graders are required to participate at the 14U level only (no high school students are allowed to cheer in our league).

Mandatory cheer uniform fitting: TBA

Sports physical must be dated after April 1 of this year.

School demographics/enrollment form needed (letter with address, date of birth and grade level, signed and stamped by the school or on school letterhead). **If you cannot provide an enrollment form, we will need a birth certificate and proof of residency.
